Each order contains 40 seeds that were harvested from our most recent crop of luffas! These seeds are to be used for the Spring 2022 growing season. Our seeds have been tested for germination and we had every single seed sprout! With good planting and harvesting practices, you're guaranteed to grow luffas!

Luffa vines are a long season annual that can be grown from plants in USDA zones 6 or warmer and from seed in zones 7 or warmer.

Luffa is a genus of tropical and subtropical vines in the cucumber family. In everyday non-technical usage, the luffa, also spelled loofah, usually refers to the fruit of the two species Luffa aegyptiaca and Luffa acutangula.

These loofahs make an exceptional dish washing sponge, or an amazing exfoliating bath sponge. Amaze your friends with your own home-grown luffa sponges (I bet most of them don't even know these exfoliating sponges come from a plant, and not from the sea)!
